Central Atlantic Magmatic Province Dataset EarthChem, in partnership with Rutgers University and LDEO/Columbia University, has begun assembling geochemical and petrological data from the Central Atlantic Magmatic Province (CAMP) as of June 2007. The complete CAMP dataset will provide researchers with unprecedented access to data for studies on the world's largest Large Igneous Province. The CAMP dataset is be applicable to a wide range of research topics from continental break-up and the Triassic/Jurassic mass extinction to geochemical characteristics of the mantle prior to the onset of MORB volcanism.
